“As most of us have experienced, injuries and illnesses show up at the most inconvenient times,” said John Radford, M.D., President at WellNow Urgent Care. “We want to make it easy for our patients to receive the care they need, when they need it, so they can get back to their lives instead of waiting in an emergency room for hours or delaying treatment.”
WellNow provides timely, convenient care for non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses such as sprains, burns, colds and allergies, as well as on-site X-rays, lab testing and physicals. Occupational Medicine services, including Workers’ Compensation assistance, pre-employment physicals, drug and alcohol testing, respirator fit exams and more, are also available on a walk-in basis within the new extended hours.
COVID-19 PCR testing is also available at all WellNow Urgent Care locations. Currently, more than 99 percent of COVID-19 PCR tests collected at WellNow centers in the Dayton area, by their specified testing times, will return results within 24 hours. The remaining PCR results will be returned within 48 hours. Patients can visit WellNow.com/PCR-results to view testing times to receive next-day results.
